These workshops teach participants how to extract color from local plants like indigo, turmeric, madder, and more to dye natural fibers such as cotton, silk, or wool. Guided by skilled local artisans—often women from indigenous communities—attendees learn the full process: identifying dye plants, preparing natural mordants, applying dyeing techniques like tie-dye or Shibori, and understanding the cultural significance behind each method.
