Trout Farm Experience

Very nice experience at the trout farm, the walk and scenery was relaxing and peaceful. The hosts explain trout farming in simple way and the fresh trout lunch was delicious, really worth the visit. Thank you again to mysatkara for giving this wonderful experience.

It was a truly wonderful experience. We were deeply inspired to see how Mawphlang (Iatreilang Foundation Multipurpose Cooperative Society) is sustainably protecting and showcasing both its culture and environment, with the local community placed at the very core of this initiative.
The hosts were warm and welcoming, and they patiently explained the efforts being undertaken by the community to nurture the environment. Their approach not only safeguards the surroundings but also encourages greater awareness among the people about the importance of conservation. This, in turn, inspired us as visitors to value and appreciate our own environment even more.
In addition to the insightful trek to the trout farm, this initiative gave us the opportunity to learn about trout farming practices, participate in the preparation of trout, and savor a delicious meal prepared by the host community.
Overall, it was an enriching and memorable experience that beautifully combined environmental stewardship, cultural pride, and community hospitality.
