Shipping and Delivery Policy

At MySatkara, we are dedicated to providing a seamless and reliable delivery experience for all purchases made through our platform. This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the shipment and delivery of products and services offered on our platform.

1. Scope
This policy applies to all bookings and purchases made via the MySatkara platform, which offers a curated selection of hyperlocal activities and experiences.

2. Delivery Coverage
We currently offer delivery services exclusively within the state of Meghalaya. Expansion to pan-India coverage is underway and will be announced in due course.

3. Delivery Process

3.1 Logistics Partners
We work with reputable third-party logistics service providers to ensure timely and secure delivery of your orders.

3.2 Delivery Attempts
Our logistics partners will make up to three (3) delivery attempts. If the recipient is unavailable during all three attempts, MySatkara reserves the right to cancel the order without further obligation.

3.3 Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of order placement. All deliveries are expected to be completed within 0 to 7 business days, depending on the delivery location and availability.

4. Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss for all purchased items transfer to the customer upon successful delivery to the designated address.

5. Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges will be facilitated through our authorized reverse logistics partners or designated delivery personnel. Customers are advised to refer to our cancellation and refund policy for detailed information regarding eligibility, timeframes, and procedures.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Activity Booking Cancellation Policy

I. More than 48 hours before the activity:
Customers may cancel their booking and are eligible for a 100% refund of the activity cost.

II. Between 24–48 hours before the activity:
Cancellations made during this window will incur a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% will be refunded.

III. Less than 24 hours before the activity:
No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity.

2. Product Cancellation and Refund Policy

I. Order Cancellation:

  • Customers can cancel their product order before dispatch/shipping and receive a full refund.
  • Once the product is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

II. Returns and Refunds:

  • To initiate a return, customers must provide proof of damage/defect (e.g., photo/video).
  • Products must be returned in unused condition, in original packaging with all tags/accessories intact.

III. Non-Returnable Items:
Certain items such as perishables, personal care products, or items marked as non-returnable on the product page are not eligible for return or refund.

IV. Refund Processing:
Once the returned product is received and inspected, a refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method, as per RBI guidelines.

3. Special Circumstances

i. Provider-Initiated Cancellations (Activities):
If the activity is cancelled by the provider, customers will receive a full refund without deductions.

ii. Weather-Related Cancellations:
If the activity is cancelled due to weather conditions, customers will be offered a full refund or rescheduling option.

iii. Force Majeure:
In case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government-imposed restrictions), MySatkara reserves the right to cancel activities or product deliveries and provide refunds or rescheduling/replacement options where applicable.

4. Refund Terms

I. Refund Method:
All refunds will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, bank account, credit/debit card, wallet, etc.), in line with RBI regulations.

II. Refund Timeline:
Refunds will be initiated within 7–10 business days after approval of the cancellation or return. The timeline may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.

III. Fee Handling Policy:

  • Full Cancellations (100% refund): Convenience fees and GST are fully refunded along with the item amount.
  • Partial Cancellations (50% or less refund): Convenience fees and GST are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • No Refund Cases: All fees are non-refundable when no refund is applicable.

IV. Cancellation Charges:
Applicable fees or delivery costs (if incurred) will be deducted from the refund amount, as applicable.

5. Governing Law
This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, and compliant with relevant consumer protection laws.

6. Policy Updates
MySatkara reserves the right to update or amend this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the official website.
